The future has looked brighter: Climate catastrophe, new and increasingly extreme forms of capitalism, the rise of the far right, inhumane refugee policies and new pandemics. We now find ourselves left with little more than education and resistance, while dystopias enjoy great popularity. Frustration is omnipresent and we are losing not only the ability but also the courage to envision bold, positive visions of the future. Yet this is precisely where radical ideas and alternative perspectives become essential: We can only fight for what we can imagine.
